Hello everyone,

It has been a while since I was here. I am preparing now for my citizenship and I have a question.

N-400 part 8 question G requires data about my Spouse(the US citizen) previous marriages.

Should the answer to the fields of this question be about her ex spouses (their names, statuses etc)?

I just want to make sure since it confuses me.

Thanks everyone and good Luck in your Journey.

Hello,

I am preparing my N-400, I still have some confustion as of part 8 even after reading the instructions.

First

I have been married ONLY 1 time (to my current US spouse). being said, question A asks about how many time I have been married, does this mean in the past only or past and present, becuase if in the past the answer will be ZERO, but if that includes the present, then it will be 1. hopefully someone give me some light on that.

Second

My wife(US CITIZEN) was married before one time, so to answer question G about how manytimes she was married, should I state 1 (cz she was married only one time before), or should the answer be TWO(2) including the current marriage with me as well?

If the answer should be TWO to my wife marrigaes, does that mean I should fill G with my information and then her ex husband information?

I hope to get a clear information into that, the instructions does not help really here.

Thank you.
