I am sorry for your denial. When did your case denied, at which embassy and what is the present status of your K1 case?

Is there any red flags?

These recent thread will answer most of your questions.

Getting a CR1 approval would again depend on you being able to prove a bonafide relationship.

The CR-1 visa category is still susceptible to all fraud indicators that the K-1 is susceptible to, if not more.

Whether or not you are granted a visa depends upon your individual case and how well you can prove your relationship. You need to sit with your fiance and analyze thoroughly what are the red flags that caused your K-1 denial and cicumvent them. If you simply just get married without obliterating the red flags then your CR-1 will also be denied based on the same circumstances.

On that note, simply getting a court marriage is most certainly not enough to prove a bona-fide relationship. Most especially in countries like India and Pakistan where grand traditional marriage ceremonies are held in such high regard.

Great post. My additional advice to the OP is to stop with the questions about the minimum you can get by with and still get a visa. First, there are no answers to that question and second, it makes you look like the the Consular officer was right about denying the visa based on not a bona fide relationship. People in bona fide relationships spend as much time together as they can and LIVE like they are in a real relationship. When you live like you have a real relationship, it's far easier to convince others.

Agreed with "pushbrk" post...

Your future wife can do the following to show good intention of marriage.

1. She can visit Embassy in India and get the no objection certificate from American Citizen Services.

the NOC will have her information, your information (Embassy people know what to write there).

2. Some of the marriage registrars also ask for NOC to register your marriage

About relationship proofs,

Pictures together, pictures with each other family, phone calls, email, greetings cards, each other's life knowledge will prove your on-going relationship over time.

Good luck

OP, there are no "quick fixes" here. And if you ask me, no evidence is enough evidence. And the evidence can be accumulated only over a period of time. Don't look at how soon you can go about collecting evidence. When you have a bonafide relationship, you'll automatically have enough evidence with you to convince a consular officer.
