Visa approved! Jessa got approved with no problems. That had to be the easiest interview. I was even asked a couple questions. Still, it didn't get anywhere near as personal as I thought it would. I guess you really never know until it's time.

CONGRATULATIONS

Thank you! When are you going to have your interview, sanyata?

Unfortunately we were unable to get the required birth cert of Ping's son due to some very complicated and unsavory reasons. However he does turn 21 years of age early February at which time makes this requirement of the DS-156K no longer operative. So we've studied the time lines and have an exact date that we are mailing in the Pack 3 documents along with a letter requesting an extension if necessary for scheduling the interview. In other words, the packet will be sent very close to the expiry date of the approval notice in hopes of the document intake date being after his 21st birthday. This has cost us a couple of months delay but we decided it wiser than giving a very difficult embassy an easy opening for a denial or requesting something we can't obtain and thus complicating the process. Keep your fingers crossed for us!

4/23 - 10/18 at Vermont Service Center. Irina already has her packet and when I was there last we already did the I156K, I156, and such, this should go well now but I will meet her in Kiev for the final interview.

Congrats fellow April filers!

Congrats I hope the interview is quick and an approval given!!!

FINALLY!!!! Mar flew to Manila this morning (philippines time) from Tacloban, stopped by CFO to get her sticker, and boarded the first leg of her 3 flight journey to America. As one of many victims of VSC I have to say it has not been easy but it will all be worth it as soon as I see her at Dulles airport tomorrow :dance::dance:

YES CONGRATS!!!

CONGRATS wish you the best in the new year and future!!

Our interview date is January 23, 2013 and I WILL be there. Just by chance I purchased a round trip ticket, because it was cheaper than a oneway, to be together for New Year's. Well lucky me my return portion that I was not planning on using, due to a business trip change, is one day after the interview. We are so excited, nervous, READY!!!

Congrats to everybody!

I' ve been in the US for almost a week now :) and we are getting married tomorrow (End of the world day! Lol) so we can send my AOS asap, since we have our religious ceremony and big party planned for April 27th, 2013 back in Argentina.

So far so good for me, hope your soon to be husbands/wives are experiencing the same! In my case I'm having fun driving an automatic car and turning right when the light is red, which doesn't happen in Argentina! Lol

We were able to do the same thing and reschedule to today. WE WERE APPROVED!!! Anyway, since you are going to Montreal like we did, I would highly suggest reading up on the informative Montreal reviews under the embassy reviews sections. I'm sure you've already done this but it never hurts to suggest. We took all the information from the other filers and had zero issues. This site is really invaluable. Thanks to all who share their observations.
