Hi everyone. Just starting a thread for April filers here. I was originally planning for March but complications made way for delay. Anyway, the finishing touches and reviews are going on now, and I plan to have it mailed by April 9th. Feel free to post your status and updates.

I sent ours 04/02/2012 and got a USPS delivery confirmation 04/04/2012. Still no official text or email so I'm hoping to hear something next week.

Did you attach the G-1145 form to the front? I'm surprised there is no e-notification yet. From what I've read here though, the hard copy NOA1 could take anywhere between 8-14 days to arrive in your mail. That seems to be consistent time span for most. Keep us posted.

I received the email NOA1 Sunday night, 04/08/12. So it took just about one week as I dropped the package off at the post office Monday morning, 04/02/12. The email said 7 - 10 days to receive the official Receipt Notice via standard mail. We are pretty pleased with the time line and so excited to get the NOA1.

i havent reeived mine either mail/text/email, i dropped mine off the 4th den it got there on the 6th, so hopefully i get a text this week,

ok thanks, so what do you guys do on this time period? i mean the waiting? do you guys talk about it with your fiance/fiancee?? i hate waiting hahahahaha.

I will be busy working full time and attending school. Time goes by fast when you're busy. When NOA1 has arrived and is out of the way, I plan on carrying on as usual except I will be reviewing all that is necessary for my fiancee's interview. She has much to do now to prepare, and we talk about it all the time at this point in our relationship. She doesn't even have a passport yet so that will be the first thing we work on. Basically, you just need to understand what is required of you and your fiance/e for the interview, prepare, use the guide here, and continue to support each other.

cool, i work 2 jobs too so i will be busy, same sit here my fiance doesnt have a passport but already have an agency working on it, she would be appearing at dfa san fernando this week or next week, and she is doing training at red cross. and we skype and txt allthe time too.

Recieved text and email confirmation packaged was sent to CSC on 4/9/12(round midnight) will recieve NOA1 wthin 7-10 business day

Finally! I sent my petition package off today 04/10/12. Now, the waiting for updates begins...
