Oh my gosh...So, I guess I'm the idiot who didn't know to do the waiver of signature...b/c they attempted to deliver mine Friday...my original submission....and nobody was there to sign for it...so they will attempt again...and now with Monday being a holiday...I don't think it will get there till Tuesday. Do you think that someone will go and sign for it or will they send it back to me in 5 days? has anyone else made this mistake before?

Since overnight mail arrives after the time CSC picks up mail, it will be signed for the next day. Very common. Now whether they pick up mail on Saturdays or federal holidays I don't know. BUT they will have it by Tuesday morning when they go in to pick up mail at the latest.

I work at the Post Office. They'll just hold it until someone is there to sign for it.

If you sign the waiver it'll just go into their tub or bag however they get it delivered to them. Some business's pick up their mail at the Post Office if they get a ton, which CSC might do.

People make fun of the Post Office sometimes, how slow we are, but we do a dammn good job most of the time. When you deal with a billion pieces of mail of course some are mis-sent or misdelivered but that's like .0001% or something ridiculous.

If it's important send it express or at least priority mail! They can track only express or registered mail!!

What's USCIS's excuse for losing files, slow service etc??? Could you imagine the uproar if we took 6 months to deliver people's social security checks?? We're accountable for our service, USCIS is not.

Gonna try again.

hehe - hard not to do - hard for me too when everyone else gets NOA2 and I ge RFE :( Especailly when people jump on me saying 'you sent to much info or you would not have gotten an RFE' - and then the 'well you should have sent a shipping crate full like me to begin with, i got my NOA2 in less than 30 days blah blah'.

hehe - I must read it all and try to keep a smile on my face :D

BTW even though mine got there Saturday, I dont expect any confirmation from them until Tuesday at the earliest anyway - getting it there Satruday doesn't seem, (as of yet), to have done me any good.
