Hello guys,

A friend's sister is a US citizen and she intends to bring her parents in USA for several months with a tourist visa, both parents are retired, the problem is that one of her parents is paralyzed and can not speak.

Has anyone know how the interview happens if the person can not speak ,i never heard of a similar case,i mention that the person can walk but he can not speak.

Do you know if there is a special interview for such persons?

Thank you.

They need to contact the US embassy that the interview would take place at and ask them their policy's and procedures.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

If her condition prevents her from any communication I'd be very supposed if she wouldn't somehow be exempted from being interviewed, or be allowed to accompany a caretaker who'd be coming with her to the states.

Does she have any way of communicating? If so, a translator may be appropriate.

Either way, an email our call to the embassy would be the best way to go about this.

Travel Insurance could be an issue, but otherwise I doubt if it would make much difference, very few if any questions are asked. Can she read and write?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
