HI ALL

I will keep it simple -

Russia - Moscow embassy

My girl payed the K1 visa fee ( 11200 rubles ) and she get ready all paper work for interview. We tryed to schedule the appointment On line on this web.site http://cgifederal.force.com/ _ it shows we payed the money and all info about the beneficiary but at the end the server type - NO APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE THIS TIME -

OK so She called this number +7 (495) 668 1087 ( for peole who are calling from Russia )

They found her by International Passport number and they said - WE CANT SCHEDULE THE APPOINTMENT FOR YOU BECAUSE YOU DONT HAVE THE MEDICAL EXAMINATON DONE YET. But also they told her there are some free dates available for interview.

OK??????

So she called the hospital In Moscow (IOM) and tryed to schedule the appointment for medical. The nurse or whoever was on the phone told her sure, we will schedule the medical for you but, they were suprised that my girl wasnt able to schedule the interview with embassy.

My girl plan was 1. set the appointment with Embassy

2. schedule the medical exam in Moscow 3 or 4 days before interview

3. buy the ticket

4. Fly to Moscow and be done with it.

PLEASE TELL ME WHAT WE ARE DOING WRONG???? THX A LOT BECAUSE SHES LIKE BOILING WATER .........................

Required Medical Examination (Complete before visa interview)

Important Notice : Immigrant visa applicants should complete their medical examinations with authorized physicians before their scheduled interview dates. If you complete your medical examination after your visa interview, processing of your immigrant visa case will be delayed until the U.S. Embassy or Consulate has received your medical examination results. Therefore, applicants are strongly encouraged to complete their medical exams prior to their visa interviews.

This is what is says on the US Department of State website for the Moscow consulate :) Good luck with the interview and the rest of your journey.

The State Department's website says the same thing for every Embassy; you need to have the medical done before the interview. It doesn't say anything there about the medical needing to be completed before you are able to schedule an interview. I've never heard of that.

A lot of this stuff is consulate specific... for ukraine you can pick up medical same day after 3:00 pm... and you bring yourself. sounds like russia they will send medical directly.

Hello Cudlik, hope you still visiting VJ web site, I have a question, did you pay the MRV fee and scheduled interview date with or without receiving notification from the U.s. Embassy, Moscow? On US embassy, Moscow web site it states " Fiancé (e) Visa applicants May schedule an interview ONLY upon receiving a notification from the US Embassy, Moscow. If you do not get the notification within 60 days from your petition approval date, contact us at consulmo@state.gov." my NOA2 was June 04, 2012, for some reason it got to NVC in July, and it was forwarded to US. Embassy Moscow on July 05, My Fiancée has not received any notification yet  would appreciate your answer or any answer from petitioners who are waiting and having the same dilemma, any help or suggestion would be appreciated. :help:

We called NVC and gave them our number and then asked them if they could tell us the exact day it was sent. We then waited 7 days and I sent a email to the moscow embassy after about 3 days they responded with a email saying they had received our petetion and they gave us a link to a document of what we needed for the interview. At that time we payed the fee and scheduled the interview and medical.
