Hi just wanted to know if anyone knows if I could bring blackberry messenger chats to the interview as well as telephone calling cards as these are basically the only way we keep in contact. Please let me know your ideas on the matter. I 've got months and months of daily conversation on bb messenger as well as msn chats and all the calling cards I have ever used. lol

Print 'em and bring 'em... the conversations, that is. It is okay to redact sensitive, personal issues. The actual calling cards would likely be of no utility at the interview.

Messenger chat is fine print yes. The calling cards means nothing. You need to show a phone log where they can see phone number called from. called to date and duration. But I would ask on your Countries forum. Maybe they are more lenient. I know Nigeria no way they stopped that last year. Phone log only can be provided.

Thanks for the info. i actually have no actual call logs since I always call with a calling card since its more economical

I know I used those wonderful $5 cards for 110 minutes of calling about the first 9 months or so. Who knew I would need everything documented and recorded. I just wish I could have all our text messeages. Thats got to be in the millions. LOL This is fun isn't it.

Take the calling cards? Why not? I sure am going to be taking mine. You can get a phone log where it shows the number of the calling card you have to dial before the actual internationa number and then highlight that number in the log. Match that up with the actual calling card number and have it ready although it is not likely they will look at it. Know what I mean? Better safe than sorry!

Bring whatever you can in the event they ask. It is always much better to have more and not have them look at the extra evidence your brought than to be standing there with nothing to show when they ask for more...In my case I dedicated one day of preparation to just the evidence section alone and the only thing they did was flip to a few pictures and say, "nice!"...and didn't look at all of the other things that I signed and found financial linkage to support..etc etc....although this was the situation for me, it could be different for you so bring anything and everything you think will help! best of luck!

You guys are truly brilliant. Never thought of that. But unfortunately for me Nigerian embassy will not accept call cards. So oh well but you all yes yes take those babies and match um up.

So I've got to ask. If they didn't look at all those thousands of pages of call logs, then what DID they look at? Do they just basically look at the photos (a few), then the I-134 and that's it? We have plenty of photos, emails, chats, and phone logs. I know every embassy/consulate is different but I'm curious

From everything I have read about every embassy and even from CO's themselves most decisions are already made before iy gets to CO's /Embassy hands. If you present a wonderful "perfect" picture I have seen they don't ask for much. But its so arbitrary . I mean visits how many? how long? how may pictures?

God knows I am not a picture person, so what do you do. Our wedding pics are gone lost thrown away what do you do? Make new ones? It's all a cake walk. I pray my 6 months living with him in his country is enough if not well F*&^ um.... sorry but at this point what can do.
