husband and i recently moved to another state. removal of conditions will come sometime later next yr. But just to be prepared. The checks we have have our previous address on it. do i need to order new checks reflecting the new address or it doesn't matter?

Doesn't matter. When I filed for AOS my cheques were in my maiden name and months old address. Some people use bank cheques, some people have friends or family members write cheques (and give them the money). No issue.

Yes. The immigrant is required by law to change their address within 10 days of moving by filing an AR-11. The sponsor must change their address by filing an I-865.

No. Your husband is your sponsor. Your Aunt is your joint sponsor. Your husband was also required to complete an I-864. It is standard practice. He must change his address as well if he moved with you.

Hi NikkiB,

Hope things are well with you. When we move we filed AR-11 for my wife as a beneficiary, and I-865 for me as a sponsor.

Yes, you both MUST notify USCIS for change of address by law in order to prevent any problems in the future.AR-11 for the beneficiary. Follow the link:--- http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/ar-11.pdf

Great! You will get a confirmation of address change for the I-865 but nothing for the AR-11.
