Hi,

I am LPR and I filed for My husband and our PD is Feb 3 2011. I haven't Received Approval of our Case yet.

I am really worried about this case as I saw many Jan/Feb 2011 Members have received their approvals. Please guide me through this and what is the next step I should take. I am really Worried about my Case. I checked my case status and is still under Initial Review.

your case it within USCIS - Vermont's Processing time. As of March 20, 2012 they are processing cases files on/before January 9, 2012. Some adjudicators may wrk faster than others so if you see some one after you get an approval then don't be alarmed. you are free to contact the post and initiate a service request. this allows USCIS to contact the location the has your case to provide you with a case up-date.

Assuming you are on F2A visa, current priorty date is October, 08, 2009 from this source http://www.myprioritydate.com/.

So you are still under normal processing times.

Hii ricardo ur alwayz here to help.. Is it possible for my case to be transferred to nvc from uscis without me gettin any email ,mail or update?? Have u ever heard of that?? I'm curious

Personally.. just me.. I would say no. Each post (NVC/USICS/CONSULATE) does a good job letting the participants in the case know the whereabouts of the case file. In your case.. you should find out if they approved your case. The NVC only process cases that were approved by USCIS who are the front runners to help the consulates with their files.

Hope this helped... also why do you think your case is with the NVC?
