Handwritten and/or typewritten?

I'm wondering if it's ok to fill in the forms both handwritten and typewritten? I've noticed that there is not enough room in the forms for my family name, to be written down on my computer. I'll have to write it down by hand.

Is it better to fill in the whole form by hand then? Or is it ok to fill it in on my computer as well, typewritten? What's the best you think?

I'd suggest typing everything you can on the computer so it's legible, and only handwrite what you need to. It's okay to mix it. I had to do this with one of the forms I handed in. Many others do this as well. It's fine. Just make sure you print very clearly.

it doesn't matter either way. Though, personally, I think neatly handwritten will avoid typos that I see a lot here (like omg! I spelled my fiances name wrong! or omg! I made a typo on my birthdate!).
