So, I was just reading through some posts and timelines...

Just a thought....I wonder if some of these quick approvals have to do with how organized the paperwork was turned in..like maybe the adjudicator sees a "well put together" file, & kinda picks it first to go through?

Guess I am kinda "wishful thinking"....lol

Any thoughts???

NO

All files are disassembled on arrival and put into USCIS folders in USCIS order. Every file an adjudicator sees is exactly identical. The files are then sealed in a box. The adjudicator does not see the file until the box is opened and then processes them in about 20 minutes each. "Touches" can appear when the BOX is scanned when it is moved from one place to another, it does not mean anyone actually "touched" your file.

Use paper clips and an envelope.

Ok, so the rest is based on luck I see......nice

Guess I was hoping that there was some kind of common denominator (besides an expedite) in the cases that have been approved so quickly...

None that I am aware of.

I am not sure if it supposed to matter BUT I AM SURE when they see your file and it is unorganized (things missing) I am sure they don't look at in a good way and you will get a RFE (or a few). Just think, these are very important documents that should be taking seriously and you (the person filing) should have pride in how you turn in the documents and forms required for any visa by making sure you have EVERYTHING required. I am sure if you were in their position and you got an unorganized file (things missing) you would not have the best thoughts about that particular case and issue RFE(s) as required. You might not deny them, but I am sure that you might take your time going through everything more than you would with a well put together file because you have to look for whats missing. Now I AM NOT AN expert but I am just thinking logically and I might be doing a little wishful thinking myself  . Let me know what you think guys. Am I making any sense or am I talking like an uneducated fool (a little hard on myself... LOL).

I agree with you...I have a little bit of OCD, so my paperwork was organized, tabbed, labeled, paperclipped.... (you name it...lol)

Guess I am hoping that will help a little bit, but maybe not....guess I will continue with the prayers....lol

LOL yeah I didn't do as much as you did but I did make sure that everything was really neat and well put together and it still took about 3 and a half months for them to approve me. So, yes you should continue with the prayers (ALWAYS) but considering that you have OCD I am sure you made sure you have EVERYTHING AND IT WAS NEAT. I believe you will be fine. Oh and I think that my 3 1/2 months was due to the fact that I filed in October and Christmas was right around the corner. You should get your approval faster than I did (I HOPE  ). Good luck

Like a person without specific knowledge. Choose the words you will.

Adjudicators do not see messy files. Mailroom people probably do, but they do not adjudicate your file. It is the purpose to "clean up" the files and present them in an order which speeds up processing. By making all of them IDENTICAL they do this. EACH file is in the same order. All the extra stuff you sent that is not needed is at the back and will probably never be looked at or only if there is some question about something.

We count among our friends who visit our home weekly two VSC adjudicators and a department manager (Alla is giving one of their sons Russian tutoring). And Alla does interpretations for USCIS. They had to bring in an officer from another office to do Alla's citizenship interview as she has personal contact with all the other IO's in order to avoid any appearance of impropriety. I am not guessing.

I never said that I knew what I was talking about. The last line in my post eludes to this. I am glad that you have the information you do but I AM SURE you don't know EVERYTHING about this process because YOU DON'T work at the USCIS. Hearsay is ONE form of information and MOST times it is not all FACTUAL. So while I appreciate your knowledge I would rather you look at my post and take it for what it is... AN OPINION!!!

That's a relief, i was afraid a touch was when the adjudicator was looking at photos of my fiancee.

Well, have your friends (adjudicators) ever mentioned anything that would definitely slow it down (such as beneficiary's country)? Any insight would be great! Thanks.

Thank you very much... It didn't feel like it was moving quickly at the time but looking back at it now it doesn't seem that bad. I have actually seen quicker processing times than mine but I can't complain. I feel like your case will be just as fast or faster than mine.
