We always hear from the ladies about how our husbands have adjusted. I'd like to hear from the guys. How have you adjusted? Is life here what you thought it would be? Is marriage here what you thought it would be? If you haven't gotten here yet, what are your concerns? Inquiring minds want to know. :)

I have a friend who married an American woman. The biggest adjustment for him was the weather - the cold and snow. He had to wait to get permission to work. Once he found a job it wasn't boring for him to just stay at home and watch TV. He also got his driver's license which gave him more freedom on his job opportunities. It has been two years now for him and he has settled in nicely.

My new husband is adjusting well. And whoaaa! you read his mind! Let's just say, he loves Stephen Colbert and Bill Maher, LOL! He calls Santorum- Sanatorium.

Anyhow, I added him to my insurance and he quickly realized how bad we need it. Weather in NYC will sicken anyone, and this year has been very forgiving.

enjoy Dave!

I'm glad I'm married to a man who gets it that Bill Maher is a misogynistic and bigoted little dog #######. And that he also gets it that 4 more years of Barack "I can kill whoever the ** I want with a drone" Obama is as heinous a proposition as any "republic" getting elected.

pretty much sums up my thoughts about politics. the more things "change" the more they stay the same.
