:dance: That is wonderful Noura! I can't believe it was over that fast. And he may have his visa before Fouad even gets his interview on thursday, wow. That is great news. I hope fouad's goes as smoothly as said's did. I am so very happy for you both. Have you already made plans on how long he will wait after he gets the visa to come here? Just curious  lol. I am crazy to get fouad here, and have you found any cheaper tickets??

Hugs, Chery

 haven't even looked at flights yet... figured it's pointless til visa is *really* in hand... we all know how Casa can be  Besides, he'll have to finish up some work and tie up loose ends there... I'm sure it will be at least a month if not more. Hopefully not much more :luv: I guess he's still sleeping, so when I talk to him later, I'll post better details. Good luck on Thursday Chery! I'm thinking of y'all!

okay, here's the update on the interview:

how did you meet?

where did you meet? (in louisiana)

did you meet her parents (yes, spent easter w/ them)

how many times have you been divorced? (both of us)

have any children? (me - no, him - yes)

who filled out these forms?

who is the petitioner? (duh!)

how many times did she visit Morocco?

when? dates?

As I mentioned before, he had a valid work visa thru 2008, she stamped it "CANCELLED W/ NO PREJUDICE", and then stamped the date of interview in his passport.

He showed her many pictures, she asked abt the people in them and was looking confused upon seeing our engagement pics, he explained it was not a wedding, it was our engagement.

She sounded very positive they would call Monday or Tuesday  He said she had very short, dark hair, american woman, no glasses... there was also a long haired blonde lady and a short haired blonde lady, as well as a man. No mention of an Asian woman.

That's it for now.... we all know better than to hold our breath w/ Casa... so we'll see, but I *do* have a good feeling abt the call back.... I'll keep you posted... Good luck to everyone coming up!

See....all that worry was wasted! (Oh wait, that was me!)

Congratulations!

'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'

Oops, screwed up that last post.hahah. My quoter must be broken.

Congratulaions Noura and Said. I am so happy for you both. This sounds like the woman that interviewed my husband. He described her the very same way. Maybe she didn't look Asian to Said. I am so glad that this is almost over for you now. I hope they call soon to pick up the visa.
