Hey Marchies, I haven't been here in a while, but it's awesome to see so many good news! Congrats to everyone

Life has been good here so far, we got married last Wednesday and had an awesome little honeymoon :D My stuff has arrived last Sunday, and there is the downside - Sandy has damaged a good part of my belongings and now I have to fight for my insurance claim :crying:

To everybody who still has to move - decide really carefully what you want to bring and maybe send the most important stuff by mail. I cried when I saw my wet mouldy books, clothes etc... The smell was awful too. Funny thing is, when I started packing, I put plastic garbage bags in my boxes, but then the moving company said that this is not necessary, cause the goods will be safe from moisture :bonk:

Cheers and more good luck on everyone's journeys!

Congratulations on your marriage!! Sorry about your items...

I so wish VJ was a bit different in that you could have real "friends" where your "non-friends" cannot see your profile (like Facebook)... That way more people could post photos of themselves with their sweetie... So wish I could see what everyone looks like... No way I'm posting my photos for the world to see on here...

congrats to everyone on all those good news! so glad to hear about milan&pams second interview going well! :)

and congrats @givn2fly on the wedding! all the best for you guys.... really sorry to hear about your stuff, though... :-/ hope youll be more lucky with your insurance!

ive been here for exactly 3 weeks today but it seems like a lot longer, since weve been so busy the whole time! theres just soooo much to do and organise and then we added to it by moving to a new place and city right before my arrival and putting in a 6 day roadtrip to orlando, fl. but it is really nice and we both enjoy every second we can spend together! i still cant believe i am living here now, though - right now it still feels like an extended holiday. although, i think thats also what keeps me from being homesick, so its actually a good thing!

well, hope to hear more good news next time i check on here (andie, and rong and david!!!!)

have a good sunday, everyone!

Wow what a whirlwind of events ... POE in Fort Lauderdale was a breeze no interview but the immigration officer forgot to stamp the passport so the customs officer caught it and asked her some questions then called the interviewer and asked why he did not stamp the passport  ... so the whole thing took about an hour and a half of waiting...

We went to a dance party last night and she met a lot of my friends ... now it is wedding planning ...

Yeah!!

Rong&David - any update on your case?

Hi all thanks for asking. The most recent was when I call uscis and got tier 2. She was actually very nice. She told me that they "plan" to respond to my RFE review 12/11, versus 12/19 which is 60 days after my rfe response.

That's all I have at this point. Other than the love for the perfect wife (for me)!!!
