Hi there

I was trying to get into a bar with friends in NJ and got caught with a fake ID 9 years ago. I just had to appear in front of the judge, pay a fine and 40 hours of community service... which I did not complete, but I went to court again, paid another fine and judge said I was done.

Is that reason for denial at interview?

You are the petitioner, correct? If so, it's my understanding that it wouldn't have to have any kind of impact on your K1 process; especially if it was a misdemeanor.

I believe that if it is a misdeamenor than no but if it was a felony then yes this could affect you....def make sure that your partner knows the whole story ok.

It was not a felony... it was an offense.
