Hello,

its me again. I guess I am really impatient even though I should be happy that we got our NO2 that fast!

But I am just curious, does anybody know the average time from NO2 until NVC receive or embassy in Germany respectevely? What is the average time of waiting after NO2 until call NVC to check if they have received the case? How do we know that the case has been forwarded from CSC? Does the approval of NO2 automatically means the case has been forwarded??

Questions over questions!!!!

Thank you for your help in advance and congratulations to all those that got approved recently!!

To get to know whether NVC has your case (sent from the service center), you have to call them or e-mail them and give them your NOA1 number.

Hey happone. It only took 5 days for mine to reach NVC from CSC. And then it was on its way to the embassy in only 2 more. But, I have seen many that take as much as a month. It all depends.

Depends on what?, you may ask. If there is ANYBODY here that could answer that question, he/she could become a very rich person. I would wait a week and call NVC and speak to a real person and ask about your status.

Good Luck!!!!

An automated recorded message system can answer many of these inquiries 24 hours a day, seven days a week (603 334-0700). Operators are available to respond to more difficult inquiries from 7:30 AM to 12:30 AM (EST) Monday through Friday. Status of case information and access to an operator can only be provided by entering your NVC case number or CIS receipt number on a touch-tone telephone. Case inquiries can also be made via email at NVCINQUIRY@state.gov. NVC only has information on petitions it has received.

Talk to a live operator, as the automated system doesn't work for K-1s.

our case finally received with the NVC from CSC after 3 weeks. we got approved on 9-11 (actually we got approved 9-8 but didn´t get notice before 9-11) and NVC told us in an email response the case was put in their system on 03-10.

how long now it will take for the NVC to forward it to Frankfurt we don´t know exactly but a lady from the NVC told us it would be for sure in Fankfurt until Oct 10.

that would be exactly 1 month after the approval. well, our NOA2 will expire on 01-08-2007. hope the consulat in Frankfurt won´t have to extend it.

It took 3 weeks for our petition to get from the NVC to Frankfurt, I received the package number 3 before the petition arrived there. I sent the checklist and all forms back the same day, but when I called the consulate in Frankfurt to ask for my interview date 10 days later, they told me that our petition didn't arrive yet. Anyway... the people at the consulate in Frankfurt are really great... they called me immediately after the petition arrived and gave me my interviewdate on the phone :star:

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.
