For the NVC:

K1's are not tracked through the AVR, EVER. They are processed like an immigrant visa, but they are NOT immigrant visas, so they fall into a completely different class of their own. Therefore you need an operator. To get there:

1-603-334-0700

Press 1 for English

Press 5 for an operator

Have your receipt number ready (beginning with WAC or EAC on your NOA1/2). They will also check names/birth dates of petitioner and beneficiary when you will call.

I just want to make sure....Your profile says Nigeria but your timeline says consulate is Philippines....Is that right? If not, please update.

For us, in one week our petition already left NVC and was heading towards the embassy. Your petition may already be on its way.
