2011 Tax transcripts

Has anyone been able to get their 2011 tax transcripts yet?I filed my taxes about two weeks ago but when I went to the IRS website to request tax transcripts they were not avaialable.I am sure I am pretty early but do I have to wait until April 17th to request them or can I try and request them again? Thanks.

I am betting 2011 transcripts won't be available until after April.

Last year we got our transcripts about eight weeks after filing, about two weeks after our refund was posted to our checking account.

I got mine 8 weeks after (about) as well. I think you should be set, just make sure you have 2010, 2009 and the copies of the 2011 ready to go if you can't get the Transcript for 2011.... but I think you will have time.

That works too. That is how we did our AOS and K-1 interview. We used transcripts for ROC and Naturalization. For K-1 interview, there seems to be some dispute here, whether or not they will always accept transcripts. I believe they usually will, but at least one poster claims he was turned down for using transcripts instead of tax returns. Of course, he couldn't meet the income requirements anyways, so that may have "something" to do with it. Food for thought. I would be curious if anyone else had the experience where transcripts were not accepted for the visa interview.

Ghana almost always requires transcripts. When my fiance was at his interview ppl were being turned away for not having them.

I will wait till I get the transcripts.I just received my refund this morning so I am sure in the next couple of months I should get the transcripts.I dont anticipate that the interview will be before June so I am sure I will have it by then.

Update.I went on the website and I was able to request the 2011 tax transcripts.I guess it is available as soon as your taxes have been processed.Like I said earlier.I received my return today.They saidI should get it in about 5-10 days.

my interview is on on April 30th, do you think they will ask for 2011 transcripts at my interview? my fiancee has a very complicated financial situation which makes it nearly impossible to get taxes done before the dead line. she always have to get an extension because she need different docs from different financial organizations which are always date in sending those things to her. i just hope they will accept 2010 transcript for my interview.

i ordered 2008,2009,2010 tax transcripts

and i plan on using my tax return copys for 2011
