I came across Ior's List, and my I-129F petition is at number 347- what does this mean? What exactly is Igor's list and is it useful or indicative of anything important?

Thanks!

:)

It means there are 346 VJ petitions that could be in front of yours at the service center.

Igor's list lets you know where your petition is in relation to other VJ members who keep up to date with their time lines. Interesting but not really important.

It can give you an idea of when your NOA2 (approval) would come…

If you go here: http://www.visajourney.com/content/times it tells you that, right now, it takes about 146 days from NOA1 to NOA2 when your case is processed at CSC. This is an average time computed from timelines of VJ members. This is really just some estimation and doesn't mean it is correct for everybody. It can take a month more, a month less…

nobody knows when the NOA2 is coming exactly. :)

When you will see members with a NOA1 date around yours being approved, well, you can start thinking you should also be soon. I would add it also feels good to see its own "rank" decreasing on Igor's list month after month. :P

Even if the K-1 filers on VJ represent a small proportion of all the petitions the Service Centers actually receive, it gives a good global trend.

You number on Igor's list means nothing in regards to USCIS, just where you are on the list Igor created.

Igor list is a list of people from the forum who have completed their timelines so its only a fraction of those that actually file with USCIS
