My Brother in Law was granted a visitors visa out of Lagos today we are so excited! They only asked him a couple of questions and requested none of his supporting documents...We thank GOD! :thumbs:

My husband has been in the states since Nov 2010 and We only sent him an invitation letter that is all...but they didnt even ask to see that.....

He does have strong ties to Naija and will definitely be going back however they didnt ask for anything they asked him who did he know here, When did his brother(my husband) travel and is his brother (my husband) married. That was all and they granted him the visa....

I have been wondering how to get some of my husbands friends and family approved for tourist visa to come to USA for our American wedding ceremony. I am going to send them a wedding invitation as well as a letter of invitation from me.

It is not easy to get a tourist/visitor visa out of Lagos it had to be GOD's grace my brother in law has gone several times and was denied. So you may send the things you mention but dont be surprised if they are denied...Good luck and it is worth the try :thumbs:

My husband has been in the states since Nov 2010 and We only sent him an invitation letter that is all...but they didnt even ask to see that.....

They probably figured that he will not run away from Nigeria and not come back..He probably more comfortable in Naija than here
