Hi everyone!

How are you doing? Any new member receiving a March date?

Being prone to worry I'm now concentrating my anxiety on the medical exam, although I still have a month before it happens :bonk:

Let me know how your medical went if you already did it!

I do have a medical condition requiring treatment, but it's benign, pretty common, non-infectious, and it doesn't affect my life at all, so it's definitely not a reason for denial. Still, I kind of worry about it. I'm planning to get a letter from my doctor explaining everything for the panel physician.

Where's the worry switch and how do I turn it off??

I'm a worrier too, but I'm not nervous for the interview...just anxious to do it! It probably helps me that we are familiar with Montreal, we'll be staying in my husband's apartment, using the public transit we've used a million times, etc. I've already walked by the consulate several times just being out and about, so I don't have to obsess over google maps and finding a hotel, figuring out transit for 6am March 13th, etc. I'm spending more time thinking about the party we'll be having with our friends at 6pm instead. :)

I still dont have a date but i called the million pound a min hotline today and they told me to expect an interview letter between now and March 1st and an interview appointment by March 29th at the latest!!! So fingers crossed :D

Dont worry about your medical exam :)I had mine on Feb 6th and bar being left with a terrible bruise from the blood test everything was great! I had to have a shot aswell and im TERRIFIED of needles but its really nothing to worry about :) I was in and out of there in 45 mins!

I would definatly recomend getting a letter though, i used to suffer from mild depression so i got a letter from my GP stating that im okay now and they just photocopied it and asked me a few questions as to why and it was all sorted :)!

If you find the worry switch people let me know how to turn it off :P Mines been on for way to long now haha!

I hate needles too...

I just received a new copy of my French police certificate that I ordered to have my married name on it (the one I sent to NVC was just in my maiden name), but it looks like I forgot my 2 middle names when I sent the request. :bonk:

Ordering a new one AGAIN. They're gonna wonder what I do with them!

Our interviews are March 27. Our medical is 21 February and we hope to leave end of April. We won't be getting our tickets until after I have that visa in my hot little hand!

How do you know he passed? My understanding is they give the results in an envelope that the beneficiary takes to the interview and cannot open...

The cllinic wont let you have your interview unless you are fit and meet their medical requirements. So if they give you the result and taking no action with the further exam that means you PASSED!
