Just a guess only. Timing also as someone got really pissed about something else on the forum and is now flooding the forum with new threads. Could be a coincidence and they just feel that the board needs many new threads but regardless maybe there should be a limit.

Fair enough. It would be nice to hear reasons why others think it would be beneficial or not.

I agree with you. Also I see the debate going forward and more thoroughly until all has had a say when there is one or two threads along the same lines. When a forum is flooded by someone with the same narrow views then the opinions are spread out and get diluted. Also an abuse is possible by certain people that are inclined to abuse.

I say limit it to 12 in the lower forums, 18 in the upper forums, with special rules in the Regionals ;)
