If you sent the joint sponsor info all you can do is wait. Sometimes it takes a couple of weeks to a month for them to review and accept those new docs after interview.

Not sure if you can contact Egypt embassy by email, phone call or if they have a website you can check. You can call DOS 202.663.1225 and check your case with them. They may be able to tell you if they received the docs etc. It took us about 5 days for the embassy to update DOS to say they received and are reviewing. (they did give us that info but other than that they always say pending AP) Another 4-5 weeks for us to know it was accepted and nothing further needed.

Here is the info for the CAiro Embassy http://egypt.usembassy.gov/

Good luck.

It looks like your visa is likely to be approved if you find a co-sponsor with sufficient finances, but you may still face security AP even after that.

In the link I gave you for the embassy they do have an online case status. Go into the visa section then immigrant and then pending and you will see where to put your case number. OR call DOS

in addition to what the visa officer said, you should have received a piece o paper detailing exactly what is next, outlining the process for submitting the requested documents into the IV unit.

If you got that piece of paper, could you please type it out, here? If you not get a piece of paper - I'm sorry - I've no clue what to tell you.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
