My advice would be to call the NVC, speak with an operator and explain the situation. However, since the package has left the NVC, you may wish to contact the embassy where the interview will take place and ask them what procedure (if any) has to be taken.

Does the USC have any way of sending you the proof of address change? So that you can take it with you the interview. Here in Spain you can obtain a certificate which specifies the address change from the census office. I'm not sure what he can send you. I would call the embassy, they may be able to help you with this. Good luck.

You don't need any proof for the address change. You just give the new address and that's it.

For the foreigne spouse, the change can be done at interview, bringing a new DS230 with the new address, as I was told.

For the USC, since he already submitted an affidavit of support, I think a form has to be filed but I'm not completely sure, so let's wait for a more experienced member to show up.

I found this in another thread:

Also, please be sure to notify the U.S. Embassy or Consulate General of any change of postal mail or e-mail address, or any change in personal situation that may affect the applicant's eligibility for a visa.

I am sure this refers just to the beneficiary. However, it wouldn't hurt to call, even if it's just for your own peace of mind.

The same thing happened to us,my husband had a change of address in US and were told to call the embassy and inform them...I called and they took note of the address change.I told them I would take a light bill with the new address change, they said fine.I will probably have to fill out something there but I called to make sure they knew.

I found this in another thread:

Yes SantFeliuGuixols that's exactly right,it's what they told us and what we did.Call the embassy and they will advice you on what to do.

what all proofs are required to show change of address. Any trouble in submitting new DS 230 with changed address at the time of interview.

All other documents(I 864 AOS) are in old address. will this cause any issue. Anyone gone through similar situation?

Just bring an updated DS-230 to your interview, you shouldn't need any "proofs."

All other documents(I 864 AOS) are in old address. will this cause any issue.

I-864 relates only to financials. IMO, it's a good idea to bring an updated form with the new address, better to be safe than sorry.

People move all the time for various reasons. All you really need to do is bring an updated DS-230 to the interview. If you want, you can bring an updated I-864 that reflects your wife's new address also.
