Called DOS yesterday. They told me my wife's interview date, 2/16/2012. She still hasn't recieved package 4 yet. Hopefully she will recieve it soon so she can get her medical done. Already have police report. I plan to be there this time. Hoping for pink this time.

I got the confirmation letter in the email, my wife was able to print that out and get her medicals done...

To quotes a movie, “So how does it happen, great love? Nobody knows... but what I can tell you is that it happens in the blink of an eye. One Moment you're enjoying your life, and the next you're wondering how you ever lived without them.” I felt I found something with Kieu that is rare in life... true love.

We are signed up for emails, but the consulate has never sent my wife any emails. It took my wife 11 days to get package 1 in the mail, and she only lives 2 hrs away in Ba Ria.

Will be wishing you a PINK Dragon New Year..best of lucks Joe!!!

Can you tell me who is DOS? Which number you call to ask about interview date? Thank you

How can you got the confirmation letter in the email? I asked the consulate to send me the appointment letter to my email but they refuse, they said that they just contact me via mail only. But the last time I missed my interview date cause I never received p4.

Dos is the Department of State. their number is 202-663-1225. Push option 1 then 0 to speak to a visa specialist.

CR-1 the NVC sets the interview date. K-1 the consulate sets the interview date. The department of state can tell your interview date.

I'm doing K1 visa, so can I call DOS to ask them about my interview date? Because there is no way I can call the consulate in HCM to ask about it, I emailed them and just got reply 3 weeks later. I'm not sure if I can get p4 next time, consulate refuse to email me the p4.
