interview for I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Hello everyone. I checked online today and our case has been approved (I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS/ application for Conditional Permanent Residence). Anyone has any idea what is it going to show online if me and my husband needs to be interviewed? Or will I only find that out once I receive the instruction in the notice that they mailed me? I wanted to know because I know some people, who got here in K1 visa also but was not interviewed anymore and got their green card. Thanks in advance for any response.

October 1, 2010 - He sent the 129F

October 7, 2010 – NOA 1

November 11, 2010 – touched

March 23, 2011 - NOA2

March 31, 2011 – NVC received

April 4, 2011 – NVC sent case to Manila

April 13, 2011 – US Embassy Manila received

April 28-29, 2011 – Medical at SLMEC

May 6, 2011- my interview - approved

May 13, 2011 - visa received

May 16, 2011- CFO

May 17, 2011 - left for US, POE Detroit

If it says online that you are approved for your AOS then you aren't having an interview.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Finally time for AOS.......

12/07/11 Sent AOS package

12/09/11 AOS package delivered

12/14/11 Received NOA for I-485 and I-765 (we're not applying for AP)

12/22/11 Received letter for Biometrics

01/04/12 Biometrics in Phoenix

01/31/12 Received email update from USCIS saying that we've been scheduled for an interview

02/03/12 Got an email saying card production had been ordered for my EAD...now just to wait for the card...

02/09/12 Received email saying EAD card has been sent

02/13/12 Received EAD card :D :D :D :D

03/06/12 Interview in Phoenix :).....Approved :D

03/14/12 Received Green card in mail.....

....no more USCIS until December 2013

Our K1 Visa Timeline

AOS

08-30-2011 - AOS/EAD packet sent

09-12-2011 - NOA1 for AOS/EAD with 09-08 notice date

10-11-2011 - Biometrics appointment (appointment letter received on 09/19)

11-03-2011 - EAD card production request

11-14-2011 - EAD in the mail

12-08-2011 - Interview date (e-mail notification date 11/08) APPROVED!

12-13-2011 - Card production ordered

12-14-2011 - Card mailed to our address

12-17-2011 - Got gc in the mailbox! Valid until 12/13/2013 <wonderful christmas gift>

thanks everyone. it took us almost 5 months. USCIS received our application August 15th and the approval was today December 29.

thanks everyone. it took us almost 5 months. USCIS received our application August 15th and the approval was today December 29.

I got my green card in the mail yesterday, 2 days after the post decision update online. No more interview for me and my hubby.
