Check the website for your specific embassy. In our case, I sent the affidavit to my fiance and he took it to the interview along with the other forms. Some embassies require information be sent before the interview.

Do you plan on going to the interview? Your fiance/e will need the AOS at the interview. Congratulations I have to say, I am a little jealous. I also filed in August but had the misfortune of having our file sent to CSC. I would suggest sending the AOS as soon as possible ( with income verification and 3 years of tax returns) asap. The USPS is not very reliable and the other services are rather expensive. I will go to the interview with my fiancee. Good luck to you both and please keep us informed as to how the process is prceeding.

For Lima, the beneficiary in Peru will receive a packet in the mail before the interview with specific instructions on what needs to be brought to the interview and how to register with DHL ahead of time. If this packet seems to be taking too long to arrive, you and the beneficiary need to start contacting the consular section to find out if it got lost in the mail (Serpost is notoriously unreliable).

In addition to looking at the K-1 guide for the basics you'll need for the interview, check out these two links for the Peru-specific requirements.

And the I-134 instructions tell you what docs to send with it.
