Hey Paisaman, I was wondering if you had any new data for CSC. Last week was pretty decent in terms of approvals here on VJ. I was hoping the overall trend was just as good or even better. Please let us know the good news.

Just called USCIS, CSC still working on July 12. So, no service request can be initiated as per USCIS. This is the latest as of 2/14/12. However, VJ'er with receipt date July 25th got NOA2 today.

What's going on. Can't get straight answers from anyone least of whom--USCIS.

I spoke to someone at USCIS yesterday who told me that they only receive updates from the service centers once a month on the 15th. So if you called on January 16th and again on February 14th, you'll hear the same thing: they're working on July 12th.

I'll definitely be calling on Wednesday and Thursday to see what they say after they receive updates from the service centers!

I really dont think this a linear process, I think it depends on what desk your docs happen to fall on. I think a lot of people from August and some Sept filers have got their NOA2...I dont know whether we can map this process. It seems too unpredictable right now.

I love my husband!!

I totally agree with your assessment of current trends in approval. I know a few in front of me got their NOA2 weeks ago.

I agree, but my point is that the calling center won't submit a service request about your case until your case is after their "official" deadline. So in my case, I'm a July 15th filer, but they won't put in a service request yet because the data they have from the service centers says they're only working on July 12th. So in terms of getting them to do anything about it, we're stuck with waiting until they're willing to say they've moved past July 15th.
