Its been 6 months now and still no NOA2 and being told June 16th is where CSC is at. I have been calling every week for a month and told the same. I just can not understand why some petitions are tossed aside like this. I am still being told I cant put in a service request! How can USCIS do this to people?? Even an RFE would be a welcome site right now. Any other June filers running into the same problem as me??

Yep we hit 6 months today. We think it will come soon now. In the mean time I am as I write in the airport headed to the Phil for Christmas with my honey, if you can swing it a visit every six months till its complete helps with the frustration. Good luck to us maybe by the new year.

from what I read in a lot of the forums, it is not just you. CSC is terribly backlogged right now and I dont think the holidays is helping matters as some workers tend to slow down their pace and take things easy at this time of year instead of doing what they are supposed to do...organizations are also shortstaffed due to staff calling out sick and taking vacation( my deduction)

GOD has been WONDERFUL!!!

We will hit 5 months next week. I can't imagine any reason they would say 'no' and I went through so much trouble trying to make the application perfect. They say the squeaky wheel gets the grease but I don't even know whom to squeak to! For now it's a lot of skype and email. If I had more vacation days from work I would love to visit her. sigh...

It's nothing personal on their part. They are a faceless, unaccountable bureaucracy. Some here insist that the worker bees actually work hard, and that the real problem is mismanagement and insufficient staffing. Hang in there, you will eventually get through USCIS. And keep this experience in mind when some politician campaigns advocating a government solution to a problem. :)
