Has any male applicants who has done their non-immigrant/immigrant visa interview this year gotten approved on a visa?

The only one approval that i know of is for Muzammil. He applied for K1. They are putting almost all males in AP, doesnt matter if he is in pakistan or out.

Hi guys,

Those of you who have been waiting on AP for a long time, do you sometimes wonder why its taken so long for you?? Example: you use to live in 2 countries or more, or age different or been divorce so many times ...ect............Im just asking so i can have a idea in my mind about this AP thing.

If you are talking about living overseas then what is the purpose of police report. I dont know what they want to verify.

You can look at our tracker. we try to get our tracker updated regularly but I dont' always have time to repost what we have but I try to move the tracker forward even when there are no updates. I do encourage anybody that has updates to repost the tracker with their updates. I reposted a page or two back but ill repost again.

My husband knows of someone who recently had an interview and was in the states within a 2 months of his interview so it does happen.

If you are talking about living overseas then what is the purpose of police report. I dont know what they want to verify.

Maybe they are doing some general investigation that doesnt require police involvement , example : they can check universities to where a person use to go to school or work history, maybe these things might make AP background check a long time to wait out.

After more than a year wait my wife got a phone call saying to submit/explain the following:

1)Wedding pics and videw.

2)Original schoolcertificates.

3)Explain what you did from 1999 to 2008.

4)Explain why you married outside of you hometown area.

I need help with how to answer what format the letter be in and where to mail in Islamabad.

The following is the explanation I have:

1) Send wedding Pictures and video

We did not make the video but do have pictures. husband was a divorcee and had kids and lots of relatives were not happy with this wedding so we had a very small gathering. Also, Wife's family was very conservitive.Getting permission to take pictures was not easy.

2) Explain what you been doing between year 1999 and 2008.

In 1999 I completed my high school. Then my parents did not have resources to further my studies so stayed home. When I met my fiancé in 2008 I started studying again and completed my intermediate studies. I stayed home and help with house chores in between 1999 to 2008.

3) Why did you get married out side of your hometown.

At the time of marriage we were living in Faisalabad and that is where I got married.

4) Send original school certificates.

We do have those.

BTW I have been living with my wife in Islamabad for 5 months now. Do I mention that in the letter?

They probably finished the name checks and need to verify other things i would submit that ASAP. Not sure how to address each one except maybe in an outline of sorts like address the question and answer the question they have below. I don't have any experience in that so hopefully somebody else can tell you exactly but start preparing what you will say and how to say it and then when you find out how to write it precisely then get that taken care of and submit. I need to know is my previous visit to US help to get visa soon (to reduce Administrative Processes, as what i find out from this forum that AP CO they would like to do security name check etc..) as i already visited US that mean they already did my name checked (security checked) and clear when i visited US.

The CR1 background check is alot more in-depth than a B2. Hopefully you will fly through the process. You never know with this Visa stuff.
