My mom is almost on the last stages of her immigration process. I do have a question though. On the form DS-230 which is the Immigrant and Alien Number Visa form asks for all the educational institutions attended. Does that mean she has to put every single school she attended when she was a child? I need to know what you all have put so I can go ahead and finalize this part of the process.

Thanks in advance for your help.

yes. .Are the schools so many? . If you have all the information go ahead and include it. if she attended school in another country since she was 16 she may need police certficate from that country though.

for my mom I put the elementary school ( though she did not complete it, stopped short of one year) and a vocational school where she learned tailoring.

also could you post your mom's timeline it will help others after us have an estimate on their cases. Does not have to be an elaborate timeline at least the basic dates will help :)

Technically, just the schools she graduated from. So high school and university if applicable. They use this information for the background check. As was mentioned above, they pay more attention to where you lived. Mainly because school records, especially in developing countries, are not as neat/clear as they would be in developed countries.
