Is there no rhyme or reason to nvc? My case arrived on Halloween 10/31. I did not receive a case number until November 23 rd. I didn't get any email from nvc, so I sent them a scanned copy of my choice of agent form signed by my husband, which they accepted on November 30 th. From that point, nothing else has happened....I have received no other emails to pay fees for AOS, nor the IV fee bill, it is now 12/6, and still no invoice created!!!! What is going on? I thought the nvc process was supposed to be fast. I am frustrated beyond words!

you should call first thing today once they open for business 7:30 aom EST on 603-334-0700 and select your preferred language then press 5 to speak with a live person. Have the beneficiary and petitioners names and dates of birth and your NVC case #.

from my experience, if you dont move things by emailing or calling them, most times your file stays stagnant.

You could also email NVCinquiry@state.gov and you will get a feedback latest by wednesday morning.

also state your NVC case # in the subject line of your email and include

petitoner and Beneficiary's names and date of birth in the body of the mail then state your reason.

Could it be you did not authorize them to use your email address, cos that is the quickest way for them to send you those documentsinstead of snow mail that takes several weeks

All right! Call them at NVC Customer care number as given by " ndu26 ".

Give them your NVC case number, and ask them for your invoice identification number.

Then go to https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/signon.aspx

and login your account and make the fee payment for AOS and IV Fee.

Once the fee is marked as PAID, and go ahead to prepare your AOS and IV Package. Take the print out online for barcode and get the instructions online there.

I don't know if this will help your situation or make you even more upset than you are right now. I filed an I-130 petition on October 29th of 2010. My husband had his interview in Jamaica on May 13th, 2011. He wasn't given a denial slip at his interview. Instead he was told that the paperwork was being sent back to USCIS. The IO told him that USCIS would contact me to see if I wished to continue with the Visa process. The interview went well, my husband had no problems answering any questions that was asked of him. He had everything from months of phone logs, flight information for all my visits there in the past year and a half which was 5 times. The last time I was there I stayed a month with him. He had wedding pictures, Western Union receipts. Anything he needed he had for his interview. I was later contacted by USCIS and informed that they had received our paperwork on June 29th, 2011. They informed me to allow 120 days for updated information for the case. 120 days came and went and no word from USCIS. I called them and was told this process takes 150 days and to allow that amount of time before calling them to get updated information. 150 days came and went and once again I called USCIS. I was then told by the officer that she would issue a request for an update on my case due to it going beyond the 150 days. A few days after speaking with her I received an email from USCIS stating that the process time for this step is 180 days. The 180 days will be up the 29th of December. I definately feel your pain. I guess the best advice I can give you is to be very patient and don't allow yourself to become frustrated with the process.

Our email addresses are correct we are just %$&*-+# $ stuc

k at nvc, :(

I presume you verified this email with an NVC operator? if not be ready to do this next time you call them.

its good you called and spoke with someone cos before the end of this week you shd hear from them...I would suggest you email the DS 3032 again( with the email protocol i stated earlier) and you shd get auto response within seconds , if not something is wrong.

Then call NVC again this time between 9pm and 1130pm EST and speak with an agent with same complaint. trust me since u have ur case #, by friday, you shd get ur invoice( I am not in fantasy land people)

before you can access that website, you ned your numbers from NVC. so you going there before then will not turn up anything new. repeated contact makes them look into your file each time and then someone updates it. I tried differnet times of day hoping agents will be under different levels of stress when attending to me.

Ok i will emails from them, I

Call this evening. I have called and verified emails etc. I spoke with an operator yesterday who seem,ed perplexed that I had received no emails from them. She said well give it ten to twenty days, I said its already been ten days! I have my invoice I'd and case numbers and check the payment portal daily but still no invoice created. This is highly frustrating to me. The love I have for my husband is what keeps me hanging on.
