2008-05-02.....NVC Received

2008-08-20.....Case Complete at NVC

2008-10-14.....Interview--221g, asked to present joint sponsor inspite of NVC approval

2008-11-07.....Visa due to arrive. DHL truck delivering visa was robbed, Consulate required us to present I-864s and DS-230 again, had to get a new passport and other related documents

2008-11-14.....Presented all new documents in person at Consulate, visa printed same day

2008-11-25.....POE Atlanta

2008-12-26.....Green Card and 2nd Welcome Letter arrive

2010-09-02.....Date of NOA ROC 1-751

2010-12-13.....Approval of ROC

2011-01-12.....10 year Permanent Resident card arrived

2011-12-20.....N-400 Application mailed

Finally the Interview letter arrived today.... Phewwwwwwww

Scheduled for interview on April 17 2012.

Now time to study and schedule PTO because the letter states that it will take 2 hours... Wish I didn't have to loose half vacation day... Well it's okay I guess... ;)

I filed in January despite being eligible to do so in December. Perhaps the anniversary dates really do affect the scheduling.

Finally!! Got this today... Can't believe it, now I only need the scheduled date....

Oath Ceremony

On March 16, 2012, we placed your application in the oath scheduling que. We will send a notice when the ceremony is scheduled. If you move prior to the scheduled ceremony, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Hello,

Finally a citizen!Please update my timeline. OATH Ceremony 3/16/2012 in Cincinnati.

Arrived at 1pm at the courthouse. The staff started processing us soon after. There were 70 of us from 36 different countries. The ceremony started at 2pm and ended at 2.30pm. I registered to vote then went across the street to change my status with social security. A wonderful day!

Good Luck to all still waiting to finish...especially NY folk. I got my greencard there so I understand the agony of waiting while your application inches slowly forward... while others are moving fast!

I'm a January filer... well I sent my package Dec 28 but they got it on January 5 so that is why I sign up on the January List. Anyway, first of all congratulations on your journey; I have my interview and oath ceremony on Wednesday and I'm also planning to file the I130 for my mother and my brother. Did you use an attorney or is the process pretty simple?

12/1/05 - I130 Approved
5/31/10 - Sent I360-VAWA (self-petition)
12/1/10 - VAWA APPROVED!!!
12/15/10 - Sent I485 y I765
2/1/11 - Fingerprints done

3/21/11 - Received EAD, intereview letter and I also applied for Social Security
3/27/11 - Received Social Security Card
4/19/11 - Interview for AOS. IO said I had to apply for a waiver
