Hi everyone,

I'm just filling out and getting the I-864 form ready to submit with my AOS documentation and was wondering the following?

- Does a Record of Account from the IRS act as a transcript? It states it outlines current information for this year and the past three years.

- Does my husband need both the tax transcripts AND W2s for each tax year, or will one over the other suffice?

- Having not been above the poverty line for the 2008-2010 tax years, but being above for the 2011 year (which can be verified via letter of employment), will this be a problem?

Hope you can all help because it's much more complicated than the I-134!

Cheers!

1. Tax transcripts are what is required. i don't believe the statement of account is sufficient

2. No. If he submits the tax transcripts then no w2's needed

3. no. CURRENT income matters.

the only time W-2s and 1099 are needed is when you make copy of your own tax record. if you get an IRS transcript, then those are not neede...you can get one by walking to a local IRS office that offers this service (using their branch locator online) and its free. I ordered online two weeks ago and am yet to receive it but I walked into an office last friday and got for three years record.

Like vanessa and Tony said U need your letter of emplyment especially if it will state a higher income :)

GOD has been WONDERFUL!!!
