My name is Natasha, an American born citizen. I got married in 2004 and have 2 children. My husband entered the states illegally and we couldn't find a way at the time to fix his documents at the time so we both decided to leave the country to Mexico, where he is from. After a year, I realized I couldn't raise my kids there for so many reasons so me and the girls came back. I am now trying to get him back. Finding this site has helped a lot. I contacted a lawyer who offered free advise, which Im glad I didn't send in the I130 petition with the information he gave me because it was very wrong. Any advise of filing correctly would be awesome because being a single mom of 2, my funds are very limited. Thx a bunch!

This is a good site but I think you should check out Immigrate2us.net

Most of their members have been through or are going through the waiver process.

Good luck bringing your family back together :star:

Whats a police clearance?

Police clearance or police certificate is a document that states any criminal record or lack thereof.

If your husband is from Mexico, you are simply not able to obtain a police certificate from Mexico because they don't exist there.

Best of luck to you! :)
