PETITION 1-130 HELP. DOES THE 1-485 PETITION SENT TOGETHER WITH THE PETITION 1-130?

Hi everyone. I married my spouse on July 25. I havent petitioned him yet since ive been trying to figure out everything so I wont make any mistakes. Assembling the petition I-130 seems easy but what is and 1-485? when i was looking at how to assemble the 1-130, below it also had the 1-485. what is that. is that also send with the petition 1-130 im really confused

The 1-485 is for adjustment of status if your spouse is in the US applying for a CR-1 visa. If he is in his home country you do not need to fill out that form. You need to only send the I-130, the G-325A for both of you and your supporting documents.

6/8/11~ Mailed I-130 Application, withdrew Canadian PR application
6/16/11~ NOA1 email and text message Case routed to CSC (Priority Date)
7/12/11~ The 'Money Order' Incident/Returned to Tennessee
8/03/11~ TOUCHED!
3/2/12~ APPROVED! NOA2!

NVC Electronic Processing- Montreal- 19 Days

3/21/12~ Received case number & IIN 20 Days after NOA2
3/21/12~ Sent in opt-in email
3/22/12~ Opt-in accepted
3/23/12~ DS-261 Submitted, never accepted

oh thanks so much i was scared for a minute. and we are both in argentina right now. weve been here for almost 6 months now and im waiting to get a reply from the embassy if we can do dcf. BUT ii have a feeling we will have to send it to the chicago lockbox. so okay i will get to that right away..

Argentina is not on this list of USCIS international offices. Don't bother waiting for a reply from the US Embassy in Buenos Aires, they will tell you no.

September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal
