Event Description

Embassy Review : My husband had his interview scheduled for October 18 but I emailed the embassy and got it a week in advance. It was on October 11 @ 9am. There were three other couples before him so he had to wait 2 hours but he said he was well distracted looking at everyone else apply for tourist visas ..He got called in and interviewed with by a middle-aged man and that he he was very nice. Below are the questions he asked..
1. How did you two meet?
2. When did you first meet?
3. Have you ever gone to the U.S
4. How did she like Buenos Aires
5. Did she enjoy our famous Milanesas, choripan, facturas, and mate? ( he laughed when he answered)
6. Has he ever met my parents?
7. How did I (the wife) manage to live in Argentina for 10 months away from my whole family.
8. What does he plan on doing once arriving to the U.S
9. Why I left in March
After he answered all the questions, he was told " I am happy to grant you your visa and it should arrive withing 10 buisness days"
Hope this helps!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
