Hi Everyone, just a quick question, how long does the greencard take in the mail, once you landed in the US, aswell as the social security? Just want to plan a few things with my husband and am not sure about the time frame.

How can anyone answer a question like this without pertinent facts. An AOS or a ROC greencard? Was it approved? If not, talking a year or longer. Social Security doesn't have anything to do with a green card, except you have to have one in your hands before you can apply for your number. Or a work visa or a EAD card, that can take about a month.

HI,I

If you looked at my profile you would see i am a IR immigrant , as i said i am home back in the US.

I know social security has nothing to do with a greecnard, however they both come in the mail, for family based immigrants.(As i only have experience with those visa ect. i can talk about my experiance )

but for the two cents worth thank you for replying.!!
