I am a American citizen and want to bring my Wifes Neice from Brazil in order to help us with are first child....I work alot and since she isnt working right now it would be a great help to me and my Wife.....could you please let me know what forms and if there is a quick way......to do this

There is no quick way to bring your niece, she would have to apply for a visa just like everyone else, but it would not be permanent. Depeding on her age it may help your chances if you write a letter of invitation and submit it with her visa application.

You would be looking into a J1 Visa – Au Pair visa.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

One cannot bring a relative over to the US for babysitting purposes, since babysitting is work. If you doubt that, then ask yourself...if this niece wasn't in the US, you would have to hire a nanny. Tourist visas are for tourism, not for changing diapers so someone else can go back to work. (now we will hear about how they just want her to visit and do some sightseeing)...and if she is currently unemployed, her chances of getting a tourist visa is somewhere around zero, no matter what kind of letter you write.

Au pairs is a great program/visa option, but it can't be used for relatives. Dear goodness...my husband's cousins would be all over that!
