Hang in there, I know it's hard, believe me I have those days too. It is simply frustrating not knowing and having no idea where you are in the system. I think if

we knew or had some type of clue, it would be easier, but we are all just hanging out there on a limb somewhere, not knowing when we will get that text or email saying

we are approved.

I was just thinking about my case today and wondering if I should be calling the uscis starting tuesday and how often to call them cause on tuesday it will be 5 months since my NOA1.

I get soooooooooooooooooo frustrated too like many others on this website when I see someone just put in their I-129F form in august and in september they receive their NOA2.

I feel like as a may filer I am just lost in some black hole. I truly don't understand the governments system on how they work the visa's.

Hang in there, we are all in the same boat and are here to encourage each other. (F)

its not easy at all being where you are. its easy for us to say hang in there, and keep the faith. Really thats all any of us can do. Keep the faith, and try to see light at the end of the tunnel.

Is your waiver being processed in El Salvador? How long do they estimate processing to take? My wife turned her waiver in to the embassy in Bogota on June 7, and it was received at USCIS in Panama on July 5. On the receipt letter they said processing is 8-10 months. Hope you hear of an approval soon. Pat

I hope so to pat; my waiver was submitted in USCIS Santo Domingo, Dominican republic. I sent mines in on Aug 5 and they received it on Aug 30. We emailed them last month and they said that they're working on July cases so hopefully now they should be working on Aug cases. Not sure how busy that field office is though. Good luck.

Best of luck Nattychic, we're still in process of putting our case together for sending. I know you'll be fine, just hang in there and try and stay positive. It really stinks to be apart but we'll have the rest of our lives together with our loved ones........just remember......this is a test, this is only a test!!
