CHANGE OF ADDRESS! HELP!!!

I recently moved and told my lawyer about it and told me that she will change it online. If she changed it online, Am I gonna get a confirmation in the mail that she changed it? or not?

I asked her if she had changed it already. But I haven't heard from her. I don't know if she changed it or not. I called USCIS to verify but the lady said she can't verify that info.

Is there a way to know If it has been changed?

I am thinking to change it online, But what if it has been changed already? What is gonna happen?

The USC should be changing address as well if they moved too.

If you don't think the lawyer h as done it then just do it yourself. The only confirmation from the online form is a print out that comes up saying it was submitted.

The other form that should be sent by mail has a return letter confirming the change of address notice.

I asked her If I have to change it too. She said No. She will do it online. I'm confuse.

So If I change it online I have to send something in the mail too?

And lastly, who should file it online ME (Applicant) or my USC husband (PETITIONER)?

Me and my fiancee are doing the K-1, which I don't think it matters in this case.

My fiancee moved shortly after we sent the petition to the USCIS.

We told our attorney about it and she said, she will take care of it!

We received a hard-copy letter from the USCIS with the change of address. We didn't have to do anything!

My husband ( USC ) filed the change of address as well as myself.

The green card holder is required by law to change the address with USCIS.

The USC is not required by law but should be changing it also because they are the petitioner.

How long did it take for you to get the confirmation in the mail?

We got the letter in the mail like a week and half after our attorney changed the address with the USCIS.
