Hi guys! I'm an October filer too. Recently,I received a notice of interview cancellation from USCIS. Our interview was supposed to be on January 3rd. Now, I'm having second thoughts whether to attend the cancelled interview or not since we're living 194 miles away from the local office. I haven't gotten the rescheduled notice yet. How long do you guys think will it take for the second notice to arrive? and should we make an infopass appointment for that?

10/13/2011- NOA1 via text/e-mail notification

10/14/2011- Check cashed

10/19/2011- NOA1 hardcopy received in mail

11/01/2011- Biometrics appointment schedule

12/05/2011- EAD/AP approved

12/15/2011- Combo card received in the mail

02/07/2012- AOS interview approved

And oh btw they're not updating my case status yet.

On December 1, 2011, we mailed you an appointment notice for an interview for January 3, 2012, at NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER. Please follow the instructions on the notice. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

07/20/2011- Got married!

AOS PROCESS:

10/08/2011- Sent AOS, EAD and AP thru USPS Priority Mail

Card/ Document Production

On December 23, 2011, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a "green card") or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, employment authorization document, travel document, or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application.

If you do not receive your document, please contact our National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283.

how to use the advance parole? you need to have it stamped in your passport too? or the card that you received is already good to travel?
