Hi All,

I have seen a thread recently where a number of K1'ers were going through VSC and being done REALLY fast, like less than 90 days...are these isolated? has anyone else noticed? Got an opinion you want to add on this?

NOA date 18th June
Bio appt 20th July
Transferred to CSC 21st July, 2012
EAD/AP approved 27th August.
Received Green Card 6th October. No Interview. Amazing!
Thanks for all the help, see you again in June 2014

Hi All,

I have noticed the same thing, mostly philipines...Maybe we're just anxious!!!!

:yes: ... 2 1/2 - 3mths for VSC ... not just Philippines - but no way of knowing how long it will last.

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number

Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere,and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

01/14/10- Interview completed - Approved!

01/23/10- Conditional Green Card received!

10/17/11- Mailed ROC package

10/19/11- Package arrives at VSC

10/20/11- NOA1 issued

10/24/11- "Touch"

10/24/11- Check cashed

10/26/11- NOA1 received

11/23/11- Biometrics appointment

01/14/12- Conditional GC Expired

07/17/12- Approved! - Notification of card production

07/23/12- Notification of card being mailed

07/25/12- 10 year GC received!

Got an opinion you want to add on this?

I hope they have begun a streak of 3 months to approve petitions. The USCIS website still shows that VSC is working on March 15, 2011 I-129Fs. I really hope they have been so busy approving petitions that they haven't had time to update the website!

I was just approved from Vermont yesterday after only 56 days of filing the petition, around 3 months faster than what i expected.... although i swear i checked the site every day two and three times a day after i saw things were speeding up for other September and October filers...

Good Luck to us all...

USCIS

09/06/11 - I-130 Sent via overnight mail courier

09/07/11 - I-130 NOA1 (email/text received 9/8, hardcopy 9/10)

09/12/11 - Touched

10/31/11 - Called USCIS for update (none provided, i was told to call back in February 2012)

11/02/11 - Touched

11/02/11 - I-130 Approved (email/text received 11/03, hardcopy 11/5)

USCIS – 56 days between NOA1 and NOA2 (I-130 approval)

NVC

11/04/11 - NVC received case (I called NVC and operator said case received but not in their systems yet, was asked to call back in a week)

11/28/11 - NVC finally entered case into system and provided me with NVC Case # and IIN

11/30/11 - NVC emailed me case info letter, AOS invoice and DS3032 form

11/30/11 - Emailed DS-3032 information to NVC (email accepted by NVC 12/1)

12/01/11 - Paid AOS fees ($88) via the NVC Online Payment Center (marked as PAID on 12/5)

12/02/11 - Received and paid IV fee via NVC Online Payment Center (marked as PAID on 12/07)

12/05/11 - Sent AOS package to NVC (Received on 12/06, in system and complete with no RFE by 12/08)

12/07/11 - Sent IV package to NVC (Received by 12/08 and complete with no RFE by 12/12)

12/27/11 - Received P4 letter by email. Interview of 2/24/12. Super Happy!

02/24/12 - VISA APPROVED

03/08/12 - JFK POE

4/15/12 - GC in Mail

All applications go to the Texas address, from there they forward them to the closest regional center to your mailing address.

Thanks very much for your response and guidance, Its been 102 days already and still waiting. God willing I might get something soon, hopefully before the holidays..
