It sounds like they have put you into Administrative Processing. Hopefully it will not take the full thirty days to get a final approval. Best of Luck.

Not really a problem. For some countries almost every petition goes in to AP after the interview. For others it only happens to certain demographic groups or if there is something they haven't quite completed yet. If you have a fairly common occurring name they may need more time to complete the checks or it could be just some routine things. Nothing to worry about at this point as there is nothing you can do other than wait and be patient for yet another step of the process.

Hang in there.

I am not the expert but from what I read AP takes 1 to 6 months for them to review either name checks, terrorist check and relationship truth. The use the time to review your paperwork to see if the relationship is real or they automatically put people in AP from high risk countries or high risk religion (muslims)

I hope this helps.

Can anyone else give him some guidance?

OP is adjusting status from within the United States, their interview took place at a USCIS office, not a consular location.

Your interview experience sounds very normal. Many IOs do not approve on the spot. Assuming everything is in order and the IO is confident in your relationship, you'll likely receive approval and your green card soon. Otherwise, they will send you an RFE or a notice for another interview if they need something else or have doubts.

OUR TIMELINE

I am the USC, husband is adjusting from B2.

I want to add something that IO didn't took my I-94. Is it a good sign or bad sign?

It doesn't really matter, some do and some don't. It really varies from IO to IO and office to office. If your interview went well, though, telling you you'll hear something in the near future or be asked for more evidence and just to sit tight is quite normal.

I am checking my status online 50 time a day. It didn't change. And even during the interview he didn't ask us anything much which can lead him for something else. I am so nervous now because i read some forum and found that even they didn't give decision on the spot then they update the status on same day or next day for the approval. Can any one please share their experience please what to expect from them?
