Hello,

I'm currently in the AOS process.

I actually have initial biometrics interview on Friday in Jacksonville.

Just recieved a status update saying my I-485 case has been transferred to CSC - can anyone tell me why this is usually the case. Also is it a good/bad thing.

This is a good thing. It means that you wont have to go for an interview. If they approve you they just send you a 2 year green card.

It was a really great thing for us. On January 20th we received a notice that our AOS petition had been transferred to CSC and on February 27th we received a notice that the petition had been appoved. A few days later Claudeth received her 2-year green card! We didn't even have an interview so hopefully you will have the same luck. :thumbs:

Absolutley a good thing!! We got transferred...two weeks later approved.. and less than a week later my husband received his green card!!! Congratz to you!!!
