hi guys

i've been in the us for a month now and i havent receive any from the uscis..

my husband took me to get me a social security card which i received after 10 days, and then he took me to get me an ID which i got the same hour, so now i have a social security number and an id but havent received the famous 'welcome letter' or the green card...

yesterday checking the mail i found a notice of action 'which is weird'

the notice type : receipt notice fee previously collected

anyone who has being through the same as me can plz inform me for what to do? thanks a lot

23/05/2011 paid the AOS fee Bill

25/05/2011 AOS statut PAID

25/05/2011 Sent Request to clear the error in my name (ughhh)

27/05/2011 PAID the IV BILL -statut in process

28/05/2011 got the response for my request to modify the error in my name..== OK

31/05/2011 AOS Package sent via usps express

01/06/2011 IV bill statut " PAID "

03/06/2011 AOS Package received by NVC

03/06/2011 IV Package sent via usps express

05/06/2011 IV Package received by NVC

05/06/2011 fingers crossed

Well, the I-551 stamp in your passport is your "green card" for a year until the real one shows up, so there is nothing to be concerned about at this point. You have your SS# so you can work, open a bank account, and all those other things we do day to day. Smile--you are here

Mine took about 30 days too...I'd say give it another wweek and you should have your welcome letter and GC will follow very shortly.

Filing based on 3yrs/USC Spouse. 3 year residency anniversary is in August 2014. Filed immediately after the 90-day early filing mark (May 2014)

09/15/2014 - Inline for interview scheduling (was stuck in "Initial Review" for over 3 months!)
