Some people get their interview date scheduled within a few days, others have to wait a few weeks for their interview date to be scheduled, then there's the poor folks that have to wait MONTHS for an interview date to be scheduled (Ghana, Cairo, etc).

And you can get the interview date anytime of the month. The operators will read from a script saying they only schedule during the second week, but that's a LIE.

recieve your documents. I called and found

out they did recieve and approve. I was

Hi, mine was approved a week ago and I sent NVC email asking about the interview date, and they replied as follows:

Dear Sir/Madam:<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial; "><br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial; ">Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial; "><br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial; ">All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial; ">processing has been received. NVC made my case a month left behind due to their own error, they did a typo on email address regarding the notifications of submitting documents (during that time, we were just waiting and our attorney was too busy with his other clients) and they told my hubby when he called them that my interview would be on the second week of Nov (no exact date). It really hurts us when some people are not responsible for their own job and their mistake affect us.

So my hubby called the consulate asking if it's possible to put me in october list but they said they can't. While the supervisor of NVC told my hubby that NVC can send the package by DHL only if it's requested by the consulate. All my hubby asked was a little favor from the consulate to send email to NVC to help us, for just 5 mins of writing email.

Now I understand how the world works, I don't think I can make it to be there before Thanksgiving.
