You log onto your USCIS account and check your case portfolio.

The last updated date is the touch. A touch only means they looked at, it moved it etc.

This is not what the OP is talking about. This is the most basic check for the case. For details you must make an ACCOUNT on the uscis website and LOG IN and check the portfolio case status.

priority date for USC spouse means nothing.

It is only important if it is for a LPR spouse that is filing.

They have touched my case almost 4 times and none of them were approvals. I would just not worry about touches and just wait for the NOA2. They even updated my address without triggering a touch in the system so I can tell you that touches mean nothing. They have had my file in their hands (to update my address) and they never scanned the barcode (I guess) because there was no update on the website or "touch". Good luck!

Allah[swt] says: “You may have someone in your mind, someone in your heart, someone in your dreams, someone in your life, but I am your someone when you have no one"He[swt] reminds us saying "O Prophet! Allah is sufficient for you and for the believers who follow you." [[Qur'an:8:4]] So when you slip and fall, remind yourself of Ar-Rahman Ar-Rahim, the One whose always there, just waiting for your Call!
