Strange notice when checking case status

Hi guys,

Your opinion might help me here. We are in the CR1 process and received e-NOA1 on august 25th and in USCIS website the step was on "Initial Review". Now the site is saying this (copy/paste): "On September 6, 2011, your document I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was processed and mailed to the address on record. If you have not received it within 30 days of September 6, 2011, contact customer service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move while your case is pending, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283."

Is it an RFE? Or what is it?

Even the "Initial Review" has disappeared.

USCIS website the step was on "Initial Review".

by this it sounds like it was approved but it doesn't say so now you need to call them tomorrow to see what's going on with it ok. good luck

08-19-2011- NVC Case# & IIN Received by email from NVC & E-mails Exchanged (After66 Days)
10-04-2011- Case Completed 10-07-2011- Called NVC and Received Interview Letter by email
NOV-2011- Interview (AP)
06-05-2012- Visited at Embassy Second Time
06-08-2012- Received Message from VFS Collected on 11th asking for New Medical
06-12-2012- Medical Done Send Back on 14th
06-25-2012- Received Message From VFS Collected on 26th asking for New Passport Clearance gone be Expire on 28th.

It sounds like an RFE. Approval has different wording, like your petition has been approved etc.

It is not clear whether it is an approval letter or an RFE from your post. Generally we get the post in a week - you will have it either today or tomorrow.

If you have filed file G-1145 and didn't get an email, then it probably is a RFE.

01/08/13 - Approved and GC is order for production on 1/8/14

09/12/13 - Case transferred to CSC. NOA2 received on 09/18/13

08/30/13 - Biometrics Done - No walk ins allowed at this LSC (received on 8/16/13).

08/05/13 - NOA1 (received on 08/10/13)

08/01/13 - Mailed I-751 (received on 8/2/13 - check cashed on 8/5/13)

12/28/11 - Received SSN (applied on 12/20/11, as we didn't get based on DS-230 options)
11/28/11 - Received Green Card (Expires on 10/30/13) - Welcome Letter on 11/17/11
10/30/11 - POE - Houston, TX

Chennai Consulate (40 days)
10/28/11 - Received Visa papers and Passport at VFS
10/25/11 - Interview Cleared Successfully (Spouse was not allowed in)

NVC: (90 days from NOA2 to Consulate)
08/31/11 - Case Completed (Interview 10/25/11) - Received at Chennai on 09/19/11
07/22/11 - NVC Case Number

USCIS: (92 days)

6/21/11 - NOA2 (NOA1 on 3/25/11) - took a month to get to NVC
3/21/11 - I-130 sent to USCIS Lockbox, Chicago.

Call them. My best guess is that your NOA1 (receipt notice) was returned to them by the post office.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
